Should S鈥檖ore allow more migration? Why? Do we get a choice?

I am working on my essay about the impact of foreigners entering Singapore to work, etc , and would like to have your views. Please cooperate with me! :) Thanks so much :)|||Face the facts. Singaporean have no choice in this subject. We now have foreign born athletes, foreign born CEO in a Government Investment Company and foreign born Ministers.

So, what is the impact? To me is, if you can%26#039;t hack it as a Singaporean, better start looking for a new country.

Singapore have one of the best education system in place, world standard university and polytechnics, but when the students graduated, they still have to compete with foreigners who has a degree from a %26quot;questionable%26quot; university.

Therefore, if you are still in school, study hard and get a degree, otherwise, you be looking for a new country.|||Having lived %26amp; worked in S%26#039;pore for a number of years, I can assure you that S%26#039;pore needs to seriously limit immigration. S%26#039;pore is a tiny island with about 4 million people. It is grossly overcrowded and overpopulated. It has already allowed in too many people. Population has nearly doubled in the past 20 years or so.

It has to import all of its food (all its little farms are long gone), so it must export a great deal to earn enough foreign exchange to pay for all those imports.|||I have notice those non professional from foreign countries become citizen here. Most job taken over by these new immigrates whom willing to accept super low pay.

My point of view is gov. can accept new immigrates with selective criteria only.

Poor Sg citizen, they have no choice coz the gov. says so. Remember, more population means more taxes to collect, so who cares you are living in a sardine can.|||haha! singapore will be raped by immigrants soon. theyre gonna get their a-s-s kick out of their own land!
