Ice Clenser or Pore Reducing Wash?And is there a biore system?

which one is better ice clenser wash or pore reducing wash from Biore.Ive heard good reviews from both.And i dont want to get both since they%26#039;re expensive.So which is better?(people that have used both products)btw is there a system that works together to get maximum results?|||If you tend to break out .. go with the Ice Cleanser. If not .. (or you%26#039;re on acne meds. from the doctor) then go with the Pore Minimizing face wash.





To get Max. results .. I did the Ice Cleanser, Triple Action Astringent and their Moisturizer.





I did stop using the Ice Cleanser after I went on meds. from my Dermatologist. So now I%26#039;m on the Pore Minimizing one (the one in the tub w/ the beads) and I love it.





If you wanted to buy both .. I would use the Pore Minimizing one in the morning .. and at night use the Ice Cleanser. .. I%26#039;ve also heard of using the Ice Cleanser as a mask. You can do this by NOT wetting your face and put the Ice Cleanser on your face .. lay down and keep it on for 10 minutes.

What products actually do is temporarily irritate the skin so that it swells slightly making the pores appear smaller. Plain old witch hazel or rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball will do the same thing. (Look at the ingredients on the more expensive products and you will see one or both of them are in there.) Just be careful not to get it in your eyes or on any mucous membrane





If you use alpha hydroxy remember that it will make your skin photosensitive which means you will be affected by sunlight faster and more severely than you normally would be.





As for your eyelashes, again, that is hereditary and there isn%26#039;t anything you can do to actually make them longer or thicker - only to APPEAR longer or thicker with cosmetics.





Final word: I wouldn%26#039;t apply any oil to my eyelashes. It isn%26#039;t sanitary. It%26#039;s probably not a good idea in general.|||You%26#039;re welcome.

|||I love Clinique... the soap, the toner and the lotion keeps my skin clear and its affordable! I bought a heated pore minimizer mask by clinique...I like it because it feels good when it heats up. I have used Neutrogenas 5 minute blackhead mask and I love it. I love Oil of Olays face %26amp; eye serum because it moisturizes but its light. Alpha Hydroxy products always burn the heck out of my face but I have sensitive skin. To increase the thickness of eyelashes use a primer and then apply mascra...Oh yeah in my experience homemade oatmeal masks are a mess to make, apply %26amp; clean up after!!!!|||i personally like mud masks that local stores sell! try that~

Ok, I have no idea who else to ask. I want to shrink my pores on my face and i also have white heads along the sides of my face. I have tried proactive, and it made my face worse! I had pimples in places I never had pimples before! I will just say you don%26#039;t overdose ANY of products and most important care your skin twice a day. MORNING and before sleep.





Another important tip, first wash/rinse your face with (mild) warm water (it openes and cleanes pores) BUT AFTER u MUST splash it few times with COLD water. Cold water closes your pores not allowing dirt to go back in.|||there isnt a way to actually shrink your pores it is all a lie. But you can make them look a little smaller by using cliniques pore shrinking stuff. As for the acne.. dont use facial scrubs, they will make it worse, and proactive didnt work for me either. So thats when i went to my dermatologist for about 2 years trying various things. They didnt work well either and thats when i switched to Cliniques acne products. If the acne is around your hair then when you go to sleep pin your hair back so the oils dont get near it.|||鈻?use baking soda as your face mask.. mix baking SODA (not powder) with a little water until it becomes a paste, then apply it on the affected area, leave it for 15 minutes to dry, then rinse with water.... do this regularly if your skin is not reactive with this product

Papaya mask/exfoliant





Cut papaya in 1 inch chunks. Blend/mash 2 or 3 chunks and store the wrest in the freezer. Apply the blended/mashed papaya and leave on face for 10-20 min. Use 2 or 3x a week.


The papaya may tingle but that just means that the papaya is working and it is breaking down dead skin cells to give that lovely glow and since it breaks down the dead skin it clears out the pores and in turn they shrink!!! (You may not see the results you want until you use it for a while.)

1 egg white


1 tsp. cornstarch


Beat ingredients. Apple to face, let dry 10-15 min. Rinse.


(Tightens pores. Makes you look like you got a mini face lift!!)





Baking soda microdermbrasion/exfoliant recipe





Make a paste with baking soda and water, then gently rub on face and rinse.





Sea salt glow (my favorite!)





Make a paste using olive oil, fresh lemon juice or water to moisten the sea salt. Apply to face and gently rub skin, rinse.





(olive oil is good for dry or normal skin, lemon juice is better for oily or acne prone skin and water can be used for whichever.)


Clay Facial mask





Choose the right clay for your skin type. (French-oily-acne, bentonite-normal, cosmetic or white-any, kaolinite pink-normal-combo, kaolinite white-dry-mature, kaolinite red-sensitive. Add plain water or floral waters or try wetting agents such as fruit purees . Make a thick paste of the clay. Apply the mask to your skin and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Repeat weekly. ( I use french clay)

Why Japanese army invade Malaya before heading towards s%26#039;pore? why don%26#039;t they just directly strike on S%26#039;pore and they will directly control the rest of the Malaya because the capital of the British empire in the south east Asia at the time is in S%26#039;pore.|||A good question - you see I have a preference for the one%26#039;s that seem to be driven by genuine interest, rather than doing people%26#039;s homework for them.





Singapore was heavily defended, it was - as you say - Britain%26#039;s chief military base in South East Asia. Even if it%26#039;s defences weren%26#039;t in fact very good - as was revealed later - it%26#039;s REPUTATION was a disincentive to a direct attack. Any attacking force around Singapore would also be vulnerable to British air bases established along the length of the Malayan peninsuala, as would Japanese supply and troop ships travelling down from Japanese territories in China.





Essentially Air Forces based in Malaya could interfere with any attack on Singapore, while the Naval Forces in Singapore itself, and the shore based defences, could be expected to hold out long enough to expose any attacking Japanese naval force to a dangerous British air bombardment.





Also (and this is speculation), the Japanese had very good intelligence, and would likely have known that while the air force was established in Malaya, the air bases were not well defended by ground troops, and were vulnerable to ground attack. They would have also known that the bulk of Singapore%26#039;s defences were oriented towards defending against an attack from the Sea, and not from one coming from Johore on the Malaysian mainland.





In the event the British crumbled on all fronts. Their naval forces were spectacularly destroyed in a single day, their air force was under-manned and largely innefective, and their ground troops , though fighting heroically during the retreat down the Malayan penisuala, were constantly outflanked by Japanese working down both sides of the peninsuala, utilizing small native boats, and of course the ubiquitous bicyle.|||The Bristish had their big coastal guns facing southwards which could had caused severe damages to any invading fleet.





When the Japs attacked from the north from Thailand, they had land based air support from Thailand and Ho Chi Minh city and the British resistance at the rear was weak, disorganised and poorly armed to withstand the onslaught.





The Jitra line fell and the Brits commenced a series of delaying battles and retreated southwards. Its only at Johore where the Australian troops managed a good fight and gave the Japs a good run for the money.





By then, without crucial air support and any resemblance of a navy, the Japs were fre to land at any point to outflank the Aussie position and all forces that escaped the dragnet were withdrew to the island and through another series of blunders by the British...all was lost.





Last note, the Japs concentrated their attack on the North Wester end of Singapore held by again the Australians, somewhere during the battle another stupid of a mistake order came for the Aussies to abandon their position after a communication wire got cut!!!

Can laser shrink pore size permanently?

I%26#039;m getting tired of seeing all the pores that appear on my nose every time I look at the mirror and especially when the oil makes the size of pores expand. I just wonder whether laser really work on shrinking pores%26#039; size. I know that right now laser is pretty popular in many places in Asia, and the doctors over there said that there is no highly risk to do the laser.|||I have large pores as well, primarily on my nose too. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do (until technology advances) to actually shrink your pores. Pores are a natural feature of your skin, and their size is determined by many things... skin type, genetics, etc.





Laser treatment may smooth the texture of your skin a bit, but the pores will still be there-- smoother and flatter, but possibly wider too. Some people complain that their pores actually look worse (larger) after laser treatment. Just try searching the web for pictures of pores before %26amp; after laser treatment. You won%26#039;t find anything convincing. Laser treats redness and pigmentation and skin texture and hair and veins but you won%26#039;t find any clear evidence (photos) of it%26#039;s effectiveness on pore size because it%26#039;s just not possible-- The laser can%26#039;t eliminate your pores.





What we can do is minimize the LOOK of pores using cosmetics, just like all the stars do. Everyone has pores, some of us just hide them better than others. I%26#039;ve recently been experimenting with different mattifiers and foundation primers on my skin, and have a few that I like, although I still want to shop around.





Almay makes a %26quot;Pore Minimizer%26quot; that works pretty good. H20+ makes a %26quot;Shine Control Mattifying Essence%26quot; that works awesome. Both products (and the others out there like it) are creamy/sticky substances that fill in and smooth over your pores to eliminate the textured effect on your skin. You%26#039;ll still see the pores but they look %26quot;blurred%26quot; over. It%26#039;s like eliminating them by 70% or so. I don%26#039;t apply ANY makeup with it. Just apply and leave as-is.
